Affiliates & Partners

SDA NMTC, Kwadaso works closely with national institutions, regulatory bodies and health facilities to deliver training of the highest standard. Our key affiliations and partnerships include:

Regulatory & Supervisory Bodies

  • Ministry of Health, Ghana — the supervising ministry for all public health training institutions; coordinates admissions through its centralised online portal.
  • Nursing and Midwifery Council of Ghana — indexes our students, accredits our programmes and conducts the professional licensing examinations.
  • Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) — provides institutional accreditation and quality assurance.

Academic Affiliation

The College runs its degree programmes in affiliation with a mentoring public university, whose Senate approves the curricula and awards the Bachelor of Science degrees. Diploma programmes follow the national curricula approved by the Ministry of Health and the Nursing and Midwifery Council.

Clinical experience is at the heart of our training. Students undertake supervised placements in accredited facilities, including:
  • The Seventh-day Adventist Hospital, Kwadaso — our principal clinical partner.
  • Regional and district hospitals within the Ashanti Region.
  • Community health centres, CHPS compounds and maternity homes for community and public health placements.

The Seventh-day Adventist Church
